Stocks Fall Pre-Bell as Investors Gauge Renewed US-China Trade Tensions
US benchmark equity indexes were trending lower before Monday’s opening bell as investors weigh renewed tensions between the US and China over tariffs.
The S&P 500 slipped 0.5% in premarket activity, the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.4%, while the Nasdaq was off 0.6%. The indexes finished the previous trading session mixed, with the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 posting their biggest monthly gains in May since November 2023.
China’s Ministry of Commerce on Monday said the US violated the trade truce reached between the two countries in Switzerland and vowed to protect its interests.
Last month, the US and China agreed to suspend most tariffs on each other’s imports for 90 days. However, US President Donald Trump on Friday accused China of violating the pact. “China, perhaps not surprisingly to some, has totally violated its agreement with us,” he said in a social media post.
US Treasury yields moved slightly higher in premarket action, with the two-year rate rising 0.4 basis point to 3.92% and the 10-year rate inching up 2.2 basis points to 4.4%.
Monday’s economic calendar has the final Purchasing Managers’ Manufacturing Index for May at 9:45 am ET, followed by the Institute for Supply Management’s manufacturing index for the same month and the construction spending report for April at 10 am.
Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Lorie Logan is scheduled to speak at 10:15 am, while Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee speaks at 12:45 pm.

Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) skyrocketed 32%, Steel Dynamics (STLD) gained 13%, while Nucor (NUE) was up 14% as Trump reportedly said on Friday that he planned to increase duties on imported steel and aluminum to 50% from 25%.
Ulta Beauty (ULTA) rose 11% following its better-than-expected quarterly results last week. Tesla (TSLA) fell 1.9%, while Palantir (PLTR) was down 1.5%.

BTCUSD (BITCOIN)
Trying to fine tune technical levels in a crypto that can move 5% in a blink of the eye seems pointless so let’s take a look at what an AT (The Amazing Trader) chart is showing going strictly by the book
Two blue AT lines drawn off the high indicated a potential change in direction that has played out.
Below 100659 would confirm a top and end of the last leg up with a target at 92783.
Otherwise, still just a retracement with support as long as it trades above 100659

$202 Million In Long Liquidations Rock Bitcoin Market — What’s Next For BTC Price?
Over the weekend, Bitcoin’s price extended its disappointing performance, falling to around $103,000 in the early hours of Saturday, May 31st. While the premier cryptocurrency seems to have recovered fine in the past day, its price is still more than 6% away from the recently achieved all-time high of $111,814. Interestingly, the latest on-chain data suggests that the Bitcoin price could resume its upward trajectory anytime from now.
Mass Long Liquidations Could Mean Sustained Upward Trend For BTC
The latest event — involving $202 million worth of BTC long positions — is the third-largest in the past month, trailing only two larger liquidations in May: $211 million on May 12 and $277 million on May 23. This series of high-value liquidations reflects the increased speculative activity in the Bitcoin market over the past few weeks.
While the investors who suffered this liquidation may feel hard done by the market, these mass liquidations could be positive for the flagship cryptocurrency — a healthy reset for what is starting to feel like an overheated market. By removing excessive leverage, the Bitcoin market can re-establish a more stable foundation for price discovery and a continued upward trend.
Bitcoin Funding Rates Still Very Low
Bitcoin funding rates are still at extremely low levels. This trend signals the unwillingness and hesitation of traders to open new long positions
Typically, when Bitcoin breaks above its previous all-time high, we tend to see a surge in funding rates, signalling that euphoria and risk appetite are back. But that’s not what we’re seeing right now, investors need more clarity before jumping in with conviction.
This cautious stance of investors could be positive for the Bitcoin price and the upward trend. Moreover, the lack of euphoria reflects a market that is yet to be overheated, with room for further upside growth.

JPMorgan CEO: We shouldn’t be stockpiling bitcoin, we should be stockpiling bullets – most every msm
At the Reagan National Economic Forum, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warned the U.S. should stockpile military supplies—not Bitcoin.
Bitcoin bull run ‘might be delayed’ as $104.5K weekly close becomes key
Key points:
· Bitcoin is trading back below its recent all-time highs, grilling support at levels it first encountered in late 2024.
· A “deeper pullback” may result before bulls find the momentum to return to price discovery.
· Profit-taking lies at the heart of current resistance, analysis says
Bitcoin BTCUSD risks a “deeper correction” as the next phase of its bull market faces a temporary setback.
Bitcoin profit-taking causes bull run hiatus
Analysis is warning of sub-$100,000 prices as data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView shows BTCUSD dropping 8%.
Bitcoin returned below its old all-time highs on May 31 as the latest correction nears $9,000 below its latest record peak.
After bulls encountered resistance from multiple sources, on chain indicators soon began to forecast a slowdown in bullish momentum.
If BTC closes below the horizontal support and resistance line on the weekly, we could see a deeper pullback possibly forming an inverse Head and Shoulders before the next leg up

Supports: 104.525, 102.000 & 100.725

Is Crypto Market in for a deeper Dive?
Key points:
· The total crypto market cap fell 2.60% to $3.34 trillion on May 30, fueled by stalled US-China trade talks.
· Over $683.4 million in crypto futures liquidated, with $617.85M in longs reinforcing the intensity of the selling pressure.
· Total crypto market cap risks falling toward $3.1 trillion after breaking below a descending parallel channel.
The combined valuation of all cryptocurrencies has fallen by around 2.60% in the past 24 hours to reach $3.34 trillion on May 30.
Crypto prices began falling during the late New York trading hours on May 29 after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s confirmation of stalled trade negotiations with China dampened investor sentiment and triggered a risk-off mode in the market.
“I would say that they are a bit stalled,” Bessent said in a Fox News interview on May 29, adding that it would require the leaders of the two countries to speak directly to reach a deal.
In response, Bitcoin BTCUSD dropped by 2% to as low as $104,600 on Bistamp. The decline in BTC triggered panic selling among crypto investors, with cryptocurrency prices dropping.
Ether ETHUSD extended its two-day losses, dipping as low as $2,560 on May 30, marking 4% losses over the last 24 hours.
XRP XRPUSD, Solana SOLUSD and Dogecoin DOGEUSD also witnessed significant losses, down 4.2%, 5.2% and 9%, respectively.
From a technical standpoint, the crypto market’s ongoing decline is occurring after breaking below multi-week support at around the $3.35 trillion level.

GameStop Corporation – GME
After GME bought 4.710 Bitcoins for over $ 506 Mio, to use as a treasury – reserve assets its shares dropped about 11%
Now we have to see when and where this dive will come to stop.
Supports: 29.00, 27.40 & 26.00
If it stays above 26.00 – that downtrend resistance line – turned to support it is going to consolidate and push up again.
Resistances: 32.00, 35.85 & 40.25

Bitcoin, crypto rally expected to resume after dip on hawkish Fed minutes
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency prices posted moderate losses following hawkish signals from minutes of the May 6-7 Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) session released Wednesday.
U.S. Federal Reserve officials flagged potential “difficult tradeoffs” tied to persistent inflation and looming recession risks. “Participants agreed that uncertainty about the economic outlook had increased further, making it appropriate to take a cautious approach until the net economic effects of the array of changes to government policies become clearer,” the minutes read.
Bitcoin closed in losses below $107,800 following the release but has since rebounded to around $108,500, per The Block’s price page. Meanwhile, ETH closed May 28 in green and climbed higher to $2,711 on Thursday. Altcoins were mixed — XRP and SOL fell, while selective coins like Dogecoin gained, cushioning the GMCI 30 Index.
Rally optimism
Despite the brief pullback, analysts at BRN noted that institutional demand remains strong. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded 10 consecutive days of inflows, with BlackRock leading the pack.
Bitcoin continues to benefit from its positioning as a hedge and long-term asset. Corporate adoption remains strong, with more firms launching BTC reserves
Looking ahead, traders are eyeing Friday’s Personal Consumption Expenditures report — the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge — as a key macro trigger.

UK outpaces global crypto ownership growth in 2025: Gemini report
The United Kingdom is leading the world in increasing cryptocurrency ownership among its population in 2025, outpacing economies including the United States, according to a new study by Gemini.
Gemini, the US-based crypto exchange founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, on May 27 released its latest “State of Crypto” report, giving insights into changes in the global adoption of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin BTCUSD.
Based on a survey of 7,200 adults across the US, Europe, Singapore and Australia, the report found that Europe has been leading the way in growing crypto ownership, with the UK in front.
The UK saw the biggest year-over-year growth in crypto ownership of the surveyed nations, with the share of respondents indicating crypto holdings rising to 24% as of April from 18% last year, Gemini said in the report shared with Cointelegraph.
Crypto sees highest ownership in Singapore
While the UK has reportedly seen an increase in new crypto owners, it’s yet to reach the world’s top crypto ownership rate.
According to Gemini’s report, Singapore has been the top country globally for crypto ownership in the past two years, with 28% of local survey respondents saying they were invested in crypto as of April. In 2024, that share was 26%.
Some European countries have picked up the pace, with 21% of French respondents reporting owning crypto in 2025, up from 18% in 2024. In the US, the indicator grew to 22% from 21%.
Overall crypto ownership rate in the US, UK, France and Singapore increased to 24% by April from 21% last year, suggesting that nearly one in four now own crypto globally.

Here’s what happened in crypto today
Today in crypto, one unlucky crypto investor has fallen victim to a double-whammy of zero-value transfer phishing scams within three hours, losing $2.6 million.
Strategy co-founder Michael Saylor hinted at another Bitcoin buy.
Crypto investor loses $2.6 million in stablecoins in double phishing scam
A single victim was scammed two times within three hours, losing a total of $2.6 million in stablecoins.
According to data shared on May 26 by crypto compliance firm Cyvers, the victim sent 843,000 worth of USDt (USDT), followed by another 1.75 million USDt around three hours later. Cyvers said the scam used a method known as a zero-value transfer, a sophisticated form of onchain phishing.
Zero-value transfers are an onchain phishing technique that abuses token transfer functions to trick users into sending real funds to attackers. The attackers exploit the token transfer From function to transfer zero tokens from the victim’s wallet to a spoofed address.
Since the amount transferred is zero, no signature by the victim’s private key is necessary for onchain inclusion. Consequently, the victims will see the outgoing transaction in their history.
The victim may trust this address since it is included in their transaction history, mistaking it as a known or safe recipient. They may then send real funds to the attacker’s address in a future transaction.
In one high-profile case, a scammer using a zero-transfer phishing attack managed to steal $20 million worth of USDT before getting blacklisted by the stablecoin’s issuer in the summer of 2023.
Strategy co-founder Michael Saylor signals impending Bitcoin purchase
Strategy co-founder Michael Saylor hinted at an impending Bitcoin purchase by posting the Bitcoin (BTC) chart the executive typically posts on Sundays to signal that the company will acquire more Bitcoin the following day when traditional financial markets open.
“I only buy Bitcoin with money I can’t afford to lose,” Saylor wrote to his 4.3 million followers in an X post.
According to data from SaylorTracker, the company holds a total of 576,230 BTC, valued at over $62.5 billion, and is up over 55.5% on its investment, representing unrealized gains of over $22 billion at the time of this writing.

BTCUSD – Bitcoin 4h
Bitcoin played this episode by the book.
It blipped below 106.725, but never closed below it.
And once it took out 108.500 it is back in the game.
Supports: 109.300, 108.500 & 107.500
Resistances: 110.450, 111.450 & 112.050
It is still early in the day, but as long as it stays above 109 sky is the limit.

Bitcoin Price Analysis: BTC Displays Signs of Weakness Following New All-Time High
Bitcoin has officially broken above its previous all-time high of $109K, establishing a new peak around the $112K region. This breakout underscores strong buyer interest and highlights the bullish sentiment that continues to fuel this cycle.
However, the recent price action suggests that bullish momentum is softening, with BTC beginning a minor pullback toward the broken $109K level. This area now acts as a crucial support zone. If renewed demand materializes at this level, Bitcoin could resume its upward trajectory toward the $115K mark and potentially higher.
Conversely, if selling pressure intensifies and the $109K level fails to hold, a deeper correction may unfold. In this scenario, a retest of the psychological $100K support becomes increasingly probable, potentially classifying the breakout as a bull trap, shaking investor confidence, and introducing volatility in the short term.
The LTH-SOPR has remained relatively low during this rally, especially when compared to the levels seen during Bitcoin’s surge to $73K in late-2024. Despite the price now being significantly higher, long-term holders are not showing signs of major profit realization. This indicates ongoing accumulation behavior, reflecting confidence in higher future valuations.
This divergence in behavior highlights that the current consolidation phase is likely driven by short-term holders and retail participants, rather than broader market distribution. If long-term holders continue to display conviction, Bitcoin is well-positioned to resume its uptrend following this short-term pause, with the potential to set new ATHs in the mid-term.

BTCUSD 4h
Scenario that I have laid out yesterday played out so far – BTC reached higher, but stayed short of 110K and now testing supports.
106.725 is current support and frankly I wouldn’t like to see it any lower if BTC intends to turn north.
Resistance at : 107.900, 109.550 & 110.450
If Bitcoin manages to overcome 108.500 till tonight, we should have another run Up on Monday.
Close below 106.750 won’t be good for BTC on mid term.

ETHUSD – Ethereum 4h
Ethereum is in a similar position as Bitcoin when it comes to intraday situation.
However, there is one significant difference – Ethereum has Double top above it….
It is at 2735.00
Supports: 2540.00, 2450.00 & 2395.00
Resistances: 2575.00, 2735.00 & 2855.00
As long as above 2395.00 ETH has a chance breaking above that double top and reaching levels around 3.000

Ethereum Leads Altcoin Rally with Solana and Dogecoin – Best Crypto to Buy Now
SOLUSD+0.95% DOGEUSD−3.67%
Bitcoin broke all previous records over the past 24 hours, hitting a new all-time high of $111K.
This is particularly remarkable if we remember that $BTC was still languishing around $75K in early April. This marks a 50% increase in under two months.
$BTC’s newfound momentum seems to have rubbed off on other top cryptos as well, including Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Solana:
· $ETH is already up 45% in May, currently trading at around $2,570.
· $SOL is trading at around $177 after a +20% bump this month.
· $DOGE isn’t far behind, with gains of over 30%; the coin is now trading at $0.2328.
Christmas came early in May, with a sharp crypto reversal and no signs of stopping anytime soon. Ethereum, not Bitcoin, is at the forefront of this crypto rally, though. $ETH’s daily gains have beaten $BTC’s recently.
The number of active daily users on Ethereum DEX has also jumped to 64,000, the highest in three months.
What’s more, $ETH’s current DEX volumes of around $15B suggest increasing market participation in the coming months.

Key points:
· US house passes Trump tax bill
· Trump bill could add $3.8 trillion to debt over next decade
· Euro drops on soft data
· US jobless claims suggest stable labor market so far
· Bitcoin hits record high
The U.S. dollar advanced on Thursday after three days of losses, as the House of Representatives narrowly passed President Donald Trump’s bill for huge tax and spending cuts, even as the euro stumbled after data painted a bleak economic picture for the euro zone.
“The dollar’s up a touch today, but market nerves are pretty clearly quite frayed and all movements over the last few sessions have been very cautious,” said Helen Given, director of trading at Monex USA in Washington.
A low weekly jobless claims reading gave the dollar a bit of a lift as the labor market continued to show stability. The weekly report showed unemployment rolls approaching levels last seen in late 2021.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits fell 2,000 to a seasonally adjusted 227,000 for the week ended May 17. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast 230,000 claims for the latest week.
Meanwhile, a lacklustre 20-year bond sale on Wednesday reinforced the “Sell America” narrative and weighed on the dollar overnight. The soft auction also put some pressure on Wall Street as well, with traders already jittery after Moody’s cut its triple-A U.S. credit rating last week.

So Bitcoin has reached and breached 110K overnight, and went 2K pips above it so far.
112.325 is a rising resistance line that is separating BTC from upper channel – one that is leading first to resistance at 114.600 (115K) and if conquered opens space for run all the way to 120K
Supports: 110.300, 109.950 & 109.450
If BTC slows down now ( starts making just a bit higher highs), it will need some consolidation – but yet again be aware of savages – profit takers with low level of courage 😀
115K is an important level – if BTC fails on first attempt, we are within the range of 90-115K then – corrections can be brutal.
