Forex Market Snapshot

President Donald Trump just confirmed that a full crypto structure bill is close to passing.
The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025 (H.R. 3633) would formally divide regulatory oversight of crypto coins between two regulators:
If approved, the bill would require the SEC and CFTC to work together within 18 months to create detailed rules, such as mixed digital asset transactions and margin trading structures.
AUDUSD
Annual wages rose 3.4% in the December quarter, with public sector pay increasing faster than private sector wages for the fourth consecutive quarter. The data suggests the labour market remains tight and adds to the inflation challenge facing the Reserve Bank of Australia following its recent rate hike.
Attention now shifts to January jobs data on Thursday and the Q4 GDP report early next month, which could provide further guidance on the RBA’s policy outlook ahead of its March meeting.
AUDUSD (4HR)
AUDUSD retreated during the recent trading session after facing resistance near the 0.7100 level, triggering a mild corrective decline. The move appears to reflect a short-term pause in upward momentum rather than signaling a confirmed trend reversal.
Despite the short-term weakness, the pair continues to trade above the EMA50. Price action still remains aligned from the ascending trend line extending from mid-January lows. The broader technical outlook remains constructive as long as the pair holds above the support formed by the EMA50 and the rising trend line

NZDUSD (4HR)
The New Zealand dollar slipped after RBNZ kept its cash rate unchanged, and said that monetary policy is expected to remain accommodative for an extended period, though leaving open the possibility of a rate hike later this year.
The pair is now testing a horizontal support zone around 0.5980–0.6000. A sustained move below this area could expose deeper support near 0.5900 and potentially the 200 EMA. Immediate support is around 0.5900, if the broader bullish momentum remains intact and this level holds, resistance is likely near the recent high at 0.60925.
