Forex Market Snapshot
The dollar is trading flat to slightly firmer ahead of what would normally be a key market moving event (US jobs report) but this time overshadowed by events in the Middle East and the Good Friday holiday closures.
While algos may be react to any misses in the data, it is hard to suggest strong follow through given thin liquidity while those trading looking to head for the exits once the data is digested and futures products close early.

The CME Group markets (including Globex) are closed or have special holiday hours on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observation of Good Friday

U.S. Army Chief of Staff Randy George was fired on Thursday … Even as Hegseth, a former Fox News host, has moved quickly to reshape the department, firing a general during wartime is nearly without precedent. … “We wish him well in his retirement,”

US500 (SP500) 4 HOUR
With US stock markets closed on Friday expect a gap opening on Monday that would need to move outside of 6400-6600 to put key levels at risk (6378, 6310/6600-10.6636)
Note Friday sees US NFP before those4 trading look to head for the exits (US banks are open,, bond market closes at noon).

ETHUSD
In terms of users.. Ethereum is highly active with over 788,000 daily active addresses and 255,000 daily new addresses. However, there has been a sharp decline in Ethereum held on exchanges, from 32% in 2020 to 11%, with an increased rate of decline since the start of 2026. This is indicative of ongoing accumulation, as opposed to distribution.
In essence, it appears there is strong underlying demand, close to obsessive levels, but yet again, there has been no reflection of this in terms of price.

NAS100 4 HOUR CHART
Similar to US500, I gave the alert yesterday when the one way (green candle) up pattern finally saw a down (red) one.
Now with a 3-day holiday break starting tomorrow, it’s hard to suggest follow through given the headline risk and while withion 23K-24K.
With algos in control, keep an eye out for any correlations with the price of oil. (currently a dip in oil giving stocks a modest ;ift)

US500 (SP500) 4 HOUR
I gave the clue yesterday when the up (grteen) candle pattern was broken (red candle) followed by an up the escalator, down the elevator reaction.
With US stock markets closed tomorrow for a 3 day weekend, look for position adjustments to dominate the rest of the day with a 6500 acting as a pivotal bias setting level and a limited upside unless 6589+ trades given the headline risk during the holiday break.
Key level: 6378 support
6500 pivotal
6460 intra-day low (minor)
6500-20 resistance (minor)
