EUR getting a brief (algo news reaction) lift but mainly on crosses as EURUSD stays below 1.0550… falling back to to test 1.0530

DAX – GER 30
DAX opened with a Gap – to the downside.
Current support is at 22.550
Carefully now – I said yesterday that fundamentals will drive DAX Up in the future, but this might be a perfect time for profit taking and some correction – be it a sideways or more deeper…
As long as DAX stays above 22.550 , 22.400 & later on 22.200 it is extremely Bullish.

Rtrs / Trump says Japan, China cannot keep reducing value of their currencies
Summary
Weak Japan, Chinese currencies ‘unfair’ to U.S., Trump says
Solution to weak-currency policies is tariffs, Trump says
Japan says it is not adopting policies to directly weaken yen
China keeps guiding yuan firmer
March 4 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump said he told the leaders of Japan and China they could not continue to reduce the value of their currencies, as doing so would be unfair to the United States. …/..
EURUSD Daily
Resistances: 1.05650, 1.06050 & 1.07250
Supports: 1.05050, 1.04750 & 1.04450
1.05650 represents a minor resistance level now, and more interesting is 1.06050.
One possibility is that this whole situation ends up as a big SHS pattern.
In my own opinion, we are already on the road to 1.09, but as I said yesterday – lots of fundamentals are in the cards and before it all passes we should take it one day at the time.

USDJPY 4 HOUR CHART – Reversal of fortune

At this time yesterday USDJPY was bid out of weaker JPY crosses, a sharp contrast to where it ia currently trading.
You can see by this chart why the recent 148.56 low is a key level (low so far today 148.60).
Looking ahead, unless 150+, is regained, risk will be pointed down
As JP pointed out, keep an eye on US bond yields.
XAUUSD 4 HOUR CHART –Rebound faces obstacles

As noted, the move back above 2888 breaks momentum for a retracement… but faces layers of resistance at 2920 (tested), 2930 and 2945 ahead of the record 2956 high.
Look for support as long as it trades above 2888-93. Only back below 2859 would put the low at risk again.
