XAUUSD 1 HOUR: 4000-4100?
Keeping a bid while above 4000 but consolidating after a brief spike to 4070, which is now the obstacle to building momentum for a run at 4100.
Should trade stay within 4000-4100, then 4050 will set its intra-day tone.
With that said, what stands out on this chart is the double bottom at 3989, which will encourage the bulls as long as it holds.

FED POLICY ANNOUNCEMENT (WED):
The Fed is expected to leave rates unchanged at between 3.75-4.00%. According to a poll by Reuters, 94 of 100 economists surveyed see a hold, in line with the 10% chance of a hike the CME implies….. BUT what about a hike in December?

EURUSD WEEKLY (Bobby and I had the same long standing target at 1.1065, standing in the way is the 1.1113 low, which is exposed while below 1.1150

Belgrade BobbyKeymaster EURUSD Weekly
Remember what I told you last Friday: 1.13950 – but Important part is where EURUSD will close tonight…if below it, expect continuation of the downside. So continued it did…
Resistance – 1.13950 Next target (few weeks time…) 1.10655

Indices Market Update: Looking ahead to earnings
Focus on Alphabet and Microsoft earnings tomorrow with US500 needing to stay above 7703 and NAS100 above 29414 (breakout levels) to keep a bid, Reaction to data and how indices end the after hours session will set the tone after markets digest the FOMC decision.

Market Update: Risk on
Stocks extending gains, NAS100 needs to stay above 29414 and regain 30K to give serious life to the upside. USD remains bid with EURUSD trading offered while below 1.1150 but still above its intra-day 1.1135 low Crude is trading down about 1% and helping to support the risk on mood.

USDCAD 4 HOUR: Retracement?
A pause above 1,3950 (61.8%) keeps a risk that the sharp drop from 1.4300 may yet turn out to be a retracement. For the bounce off 1.3968 to build momentum and shift the focus from 1.40, 1.4082 and then 1.4112 need to be taken out. Key to what comes next will be reactions to the BoC and Fed meetings on Wednesday.

US500 vs. NAS100 (4 hour CFD)
Both making a bid (so far not holding) to break momentum with moves above 7703 and 20414, respectively. Of the two, NAS100 is most important as it led the tech driven sell-off. To suggest more than a retracement, these levels would need to become supports. Otherwise, dependent on 7665 and/or 29135 holding to keep the current bid

US BOND YIELDS UPDATE
Yields now ticking up (curve flattening), reversing easrlier tick down as bond market seems to be reacting to a better start to stocks, which is setting an early risk on mood awaiting key eanings later on. Keep an eye on FX to see if there are any correlations. Otherwise, still a wait-and-see ahead of the FOMC.

US500 vs. NAS100: Why Our Levels Matter
Upside in both indices was capped at our key resistance levels cited earlier. US500 tested 7703, while NAS100 came within two points of 29414 before being repelled and remain the levels to watch. The bounces off the lows, meanwhile, need to break and hold above resistance to suggest downside momentum is losing its grip. Otherwise, the upside remains limited.

EURUSD 4 HOUR: Low back on the radar?
Failure to hold 1.12+ has seen the 1.1182 bottom of the consolidation range broken. If 1.1182 becomes resistance, then the 1.1113 low comes on the radar although 1.1150 more likely will determine whether to go after the low or not. If not, above, 1.1182 would put 1.12 back in focus.
