BoE cut its rate, telling us that it was a close call (5-4 for easing, hahaha. gilette should make a shaver cutting this close)
Bottom Line
is that currently market players are gaming the BoE will be cutting in April
beyond that … it is like looking into a bowl of milk
Trading Tip
As posted yesterday has been a good guide today
A friend just sent me this: As time keeps running out into year end, I suspect techs are going to become less reliable and trading will see more bouts of failed momentum as players will be lurking to bag profits or minimize/null losses.
Example today: EURUSD 1.1703 => 1.1737 => 1.1708 => 1.1719
Test of this comes later to see if US stocks can break out to the upside. (i.e. above US500 6831, NAS100 25398 — scroll to see earlier posts)

\now sitting just N of 1.1710-ish minor S and trying to decide where is less resistance for next energy pulse.
1.17 and DX 98.75 and yields all probably jockeying for tugging this or that a way

BOJ meets for policy setting, markets see rates on hold
TOKYO, Oct 29 (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent urged Japan’s government on Wednesday to give the central bank scope to raise interest rates, escalating his warning to Tokyo against keeping the yen too weak through prolonged low borrowing costs.
The dollar fell 0.3% to 151.59 yen after the comments, which revived market expectations of a near-term interest rate hike by the Bank of Japan.
With the impact of today’s verbal intervention having a short shelf life with USDJPY now higgher than when it hit the newswires, this article is worth your attention
Understanding Forex Intervention: Lessons from Japan’s Approach to the Yen

The four contracts are:
When does it happen?
Why does it matter?
